The success didn’t end there as 17 ECC student- athletes were recognized by the Western New York Athletic Conference for their success in the classroom.

Updated: 07/01/08 7:13 AM BOYS BASKETBALL: The Buffalo Jam Fest is looking for 12- player teams to participate in its July 19-20 event for ages 12-under, 13-under, 14-under, 15-under, 16-under and 17-under. The fee is $250 and there is a four-game guarantee. The event is being hosted at Cardinal O’- Hara High School, 39 O’Hara Road, Tonawanda 14150 and the Edward Sanders Community Center, 2777 Bailey Ave. 14215. Updated: 06/27/08 6:33 AM The University at Buffalo has made two coaching appointments. Corinne Pellegrini will join the women’s basketball staff as an assistant. She had been the head coach at Genesee Community College, where the Cougars were 24-6 and played in the NJCAA DII national tournament.
